GRACIELA GUERRERO was born in Santo Domingo de los Colorados, Ecuador, in 1989. She obtained her degree in Systems and Computer Engineering from the Escuela Politécnica del Ejército (Universidad de las Fuerzas Armadas ESPE), Quito, in 2012, and her master's degree in Research and Innovation in Information and Communication Technologies from the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid, Spain, in 2015. In 2023, he obtained his PhD in Advanced Information Technologies from the University of Castilla La Mancha, Spain.

Since 2015, she has been teaching in the Department of Computer Science at the Universidad de las Fuerzas Armadas ESPE, Quito, Ecuador. She is author of more than 35 scientific papers and belongs to the research groups in Software Engineering and Intelligent Systems and Data Analytics, both attached to the Department of Computer Science. Her research interests include Ambient Intelligence, Human-Computer Interaction, Machine Learning and her own proposal in the area of Augmented Humanity.
